The fine print
Privacy policy
The short version: we collect what we need to plan your trip, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
What we collect
When you send an inquiry or book a journey, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, the route you're interested in, travel dates, and anything you write in your message. For confirmed bookings we additionally collect the details needed for permits, stays, and safety — such as government ID numbers where checkposts require them, emergency contacts, and relevant medical declarations for high-altitude routes.
How we use it
To plan and run your trip: replying to your inquiry, building your itinerary, booking stays, arranging permits, and reaching you or your emergency contact on the road. We may email you about your own trip at any time; we send marketing only if you've asked for it, and every such email includes a way to opt out.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the people needed to deliver your trip — homestays, camp operators, permit offices — and only what each of them needs. Our website uses no advertising trackers and sets no marketing cookies.
Storage and your choices
Inquiry and booking records are kept while we might reasonably work together again, and for as long as tax and travel regulations require. You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete what we're not legally required to keep — just write to [email protected].
Questions about any of this? Contact us — a person, not a form letter, will answer.
